It looks certain that after Wednesday’s awful performance and loss Roy Hodgson will no longer be the Liverpool manager come Thursday morning. The rumour mill is rife with “confirmations” that the Liverpool board have made the decision to replace Hodgson, but with who is anyones guess.
Will NESV opt for a caretaker manager while they look for a long-term replacement and, if so, does that open the door for Kenny Dalglish (my choice) or will they opt to find a permanent manager immediately? The bottom-line is nobody knows but apparently NESV tend to look for younger managers who can bring a vision and fresh dynamic to their sport teams and stay for the long-term.
I’m sure within the next 24 hours the picture will become a lot clearer but the bottom line is Liverpool will better off without Hodgson at the helm.
